Kite

This is a fork on bodymovin for those having trouble with the CEP. Kite can also export to .lottie and creates a .html player to check on any browser.

CuboNaty

Have you ever needed to create a customizable, fully functional Rubik’s cube inside After Effects? Well, we did. Under project constraints it was not possible to use any 3D software to create the cube, so this script saved the day.

Shape Blend

Illustrator Blend tool is great! It boggles my mind trying to understand why we didn’t have anything like that natively (don’t CC Time Blend at me YOU COWARD). This script is pretty much a rip off of the Illustrator version, but inside After Effects. You can change any parameters under both shapes to change the blend, you can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life.

Installing

Easiest route: File → Scripts → Install ScriptUI Panel…, pick the .jsx, restart After Effects, then open it from the Window menu. No admin rights, no hunting for folders.

ScriptUI Panels gets you a dockable panel in the Window menu. The plain Scripts folder gets you File → Scripts → Run Script File, which closes when you close it.
Restart After Effects after copying, or the menu won’t see it.
CuboNaty needs one preference on: Scripting & Expressions → Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network, so it can read the images you assign to cube faces. On Windows that’s under Edit → Preferences; on macOS, After Effects → Settings.
Swap the year in the path for whichever After Effects you run.

Everything but CuboNaty was only tested on 25.6.5 (build 3), EN-US, Windows. CuboNaty runs well on both macOS and Windows and in different languages.
