system thinking and a habit of figuring things out

I’m Maikon Miranda, a motion designer based in Brazil with 14 years in motion design and video production, including editing, animation and VFX. For the last four years, I’ve focused on digital products: shipping Lottie animations to the web, building After Effects and WebGL tools, and defining motion for design systems and developer handoff.

I like being the bridge between an idea and something that actually works. That means caring about the timing, the code and the handoff. The documentation and file names count too.
